Another snow day for the kids and I think even they are getting sick of them! This past weekend was great. I saw two dear friends on Saturday and the family on Sunday. Emma is having a great year with basketball and skiing. Volleyball comes up soon. She is also busy with Academic Bowl, a game-style competition among several area schools. Joseph is loving the snow days as Seniors do not need to make them up. He is having an outstanding season in track even though he pulled his hamstring and is not doing hurdles. For winter track he is doing hurdles and the 4x2 relay (in a recent race, they were 1/100th of a second off the school record!)
As anticipated for me, this is a quiet week...I did have a couple fevers but they broke on their own. No fever today and I feel much better.
The bone marrow biopsy could happen tomorrow but I am waiting on confirmation from the team.
Thanks for checking in and for all your kindness and support
Love Maureen
Maureen was admitted to Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston MA 12/16/14 with Acute Myloid Leukemia. She underwent two rounds of high intensity chemo followed by a transplant March 19, 2015. The leukemia was in remission for several months but returned late August '15. Since then Maureen has had several different types of treatment both as an inpatient and outpatient. Currently Maureen is in the hospital (10/17) receiving two different chemo regimens. She hopes to go home soon.

Yes---my kids are sick of snow days, trying to fit in all of their work! We are all so amazed at just how much of it there is! Thinking of you and fingers crossed for the biopsy. xo Betsy
