A beautiful snow free day after the blizzard of 2015. Kate is here with me and we are having another lovely day. It will likely be another week or so before my next bone marrow biopsy which will determine next steps - hopefully 'conditioning' chemo followed by the transplant. The 'if this - then that' factors are mind boggling and I will spare you those. Thanks for checking in and for all your love, prayers and support.
Love, Maureen
Maureen was admitted to Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston MA 12/16/14 with Acute Myloid Leukemia. She underwent two rounds of high intensity chemo followed by a transplant March 19, 2015. The leukemia was in remission for several months but returned late August '15. Since then Maureen has had several different types of treatment both as an inpatient and outpatient. Currently Maureen is in the hospital (10/17) receiving two different chemo regimens. She hopes to go home soon.
Hi Moe - So I tried to post a comment, and because of my usual incompetence, it disappeared. One more time! Add me to the long list of people praying for you. As I saw with my mom many years ago, prayer + attitude can do really great things. I hope you are feeling well today and powering through your treatments. - Jeff
ReplyDeleteHI Moe,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see all your friends wishing you a speedy recovery.
This cold snow is reminding me of walking the streets of Boston with you at NEU with the wind hitting us in the face. The snow boots were critical. The blue sky today is spectacular and the snow is hanging on the branches. No melting here.
Power on!
Julie
Hey Maureen, hope you are enjoying the snow from your first-rate view of Boston! Thinking of you and hope to see you next week? xo Betsy
